Penlac Prescription Topical Nail Lacquer

Penlac Ciclopirox Nail Lacquer is an FDA approved topical treatment for both fingernail and toenail fungus.

Penlac is prescription only and cannot be purchased over the counter or online legitimately. If you wish to use Penlac then you must consult with your GP or doctor.

Penlac is focused towards mild or less severe nail infections and unlike a majority of the other prescription nail fungus medicines is not taken internally but brushed on.

How Does Penlac Work

The topicial solution is applied in a similar way to nail polish or nail varnish. The screw top contains a brush or applicator for the solution to be simply brushed on.

Before application remove any loose material that may be present under the infected nail or nails and clip your nails.

Apply the topical antifungal solution once a day evenly over the infected nail or nails, preferably at night before going to bed.

Ensure that the solution not only covers the top of the nail but also as much of the underside as possible and surrounding skin.

Allow the lacquer to dry (approximately 30 seconds) before putting on socks, stockings or footwear.

Penlac Side Effects And Precautions

Some user may experience a change in shape of the nail, discoloration, redness of infected area and even ingrown toenails.

Some more severe potential side effects include:

• Severe allergic reactions
• Tightness in the chest
• Swelling of the mouth
• Blistering

If any of the above symptoms materialise cease using and consult with your GP.

If you suffer from Diabetes you must inform your GP prior to any usage.

Does Penlac Work

Penlac is FDA approved and does have scientific evidence to be used in conjunction with mild or moderate fungal nail infection.

Comapred to other prescription antifungal medication Penlac is not the most potent.
