How To Avoid Nail Fungus Spreading

- Avoid walking barefoot in public places such swimming pools
- Change socks frequently – a hot sweaty sock is the ideal breeding ground for bacteria
- Wear only cotton or lightweight socks
- Avoid putting your hands in water for long periods (washing up etc…)
- Dry feet thoroughly after showering
- Avoid manicures or pedicures at salons where a file or clippers could transfer bacteria from digit to digit
